Site Manager - Mixed-Use Development
Location: Guernsey (Local / Guernsey-resident candidates only)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £300-£400, depending on experience
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager based in Guernsey to lead an exciting mixed-use development project. You will take the scheme out of the ground-overseeing groundworks and structural build right through to full interior fit-out and high-spec finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day on-site operations from enabling/substructure works to completion and handover.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trade teams, and material logistics.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Drive the construction programme to deliver on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections through all phases, including snagging and final finishes.
Requirements
- Location: Must already reside in Guernsey with the right to work locally.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering commercial, residential or mixed-use projects from groundworks through to completion.
- Certifications: Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card), and First Aid at Work.
- Strong technical knowledge of structural packages, MEP coordination, and high-end fit-out details.
- Clear leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
