Salary: £35,235 - £39,513 (plus £5,000 market rate supplement per year £40,235 - £44,513)

Job Summary
Herefordshire Council is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker for their Assessment Team, a crucial role in safeguarding children's well-being within the community. As part of a committed team, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality support and intervention through the following responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments for children and their families.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with professionals across education, healthcare, and social care sectors.
- Champion the best interests of children, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain precise and current case documentation.
- Contribute to case reviews and team meetings.
- Offer support and guidance to families.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant community organisations.

Requirements:
- You will be fully qualified (SW Degree, DipSW, or equivalent social work qualification)
- Hold a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in statutory social care and dedicated to delivering positive outcomes for our children.
- You must be registered with Social Work England and you must have a full driving licence with access to a car.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
