The Financials
Hourly Rate: £45.00 per hour
Weekly Expenses: £100 allowance to support your travel/accommodation
Welcome Bonus: £100 (paid upon starting)

The Work-Life Balance
Hybrid Working: 3 days on-site in Carlisle / 2 days working from home.
Manageable Duty: A favorable duty rotation of only 1 week in every 6-7, giving you predictable blocks of focused casework time.
The Role
As a Child Protection Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
Managing a complex caseload involving children at risk.
Conducting Section 47 investigations and attending core groups.
Drafting high-quality court reports and representing the authority in proceedings.
Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure robust safety plans are in place.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
Substantial experience within Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
Ability to commute to Carlisle for the 3-day on-site requirement.
