Work directly with looked after children and young people, providing high-quality support and advocacy.

Develop and implement person-centered care plans, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent needs and adhering to statutory timescales.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of services for looked after children.
Participate in regular supervision and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
Registered with Social Care England.
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience working with looked after children is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children in care.
Ability to build rapport and trust with young people and their families.
Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
