Salary: £35,235 - £39,513 (plus market supplement of £5,000 per year £40,235 - £44,513)

Job SummaryExperienced Social Worker needed for countywide Kinship team. Responsibilities include assessing and supporting Connected/Kinship Foster Carers and potential Special Guardians, collaborating to improve placement quality and stability.
The Kinship team, a specialist part of fostering services, assesses and supports connected person foster carers and Special Guardians, also covering private fostering and post-order Special Guardianship support. We are a dedicated team focused on improving outcomes for children and supporting Kinship carers.

Requirements:
- You will be fully qualified (SW Degree, DipSW, or equivalent social work qualification)
- Hold a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a statutory setting, preferably within Kinship & Fostering.
- Expertise in complex assessments for Court/Foster Panel, strong safeguarding background, understanding of Kinship care regulations, and excellent analytical reporting skills.
- You must be registered with Social Work England and you must have a full driving licence with access to a car.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
