Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Angus Council in their Older Adults Service doing Adult Support and Protection. This is a full time role offering a fantastic competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities:
- Inquiry and Investigation.
- If the inquiry confirms concerns, a Council Officer (Social Worker) will carry out a detailed investigation. This includes visiting the adult, interviewing them, and reviewing their records.
- Social workers assess whether the adult is experiencing harm, which can include physical, psychological, financial abuse, or neglect (including self-neglect).
- Case Conferences & Multi-Agency Working.
- They convene Case Conferences to bring together professionals, the adult, and their family to agree on a formal Protection Plan.
- When necessary, the team applies for legal orders through the court, such as: Assessment Orders | Removal Orders | Banning Orders | Support and Advocacy
- All actions taken by the Angus ASP team must adhere to the following principles: Benefit to the Adult | Minimum Intervention | Wishes of the Adult.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- SSSC registration
- PVG
Experience:
- Adults
- ASP
