Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Familiarity with the UK A-Level examination board specifications.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the A-Level Sociology curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback.
- Monitor and track the progress of all students, implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary to close attainment gaps.
- Manage and maintain a positive, orderly, and disciplined learning environment in the classroom.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the Sociology curriculum and departmental resources.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, as well as the school's professional development programme.
- Undertake pastoral duties as a form tutor, supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Prepare students effectively for all public examinations, including providing revision sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and academic performance data.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities or enrichment programmes that support the sociological interests of students.
