Roles and Responsibilities
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the educational team, providing support to students with a range of special needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons, adapting materials to meet individual student needs.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to feel safe and confident.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Helping with personal care and mobility needs when required.
