Randstad Education is working with a primary school in West Derby to recruit an organised and committed Teaching Assistant who can provide both general support in a KS2 class as well as support children with SEN. This role is to start on 1st September 2025 and offers the chance to make a real difference, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. You will need to have previous experience supporting children with SEN as well as knowledge of the primary KS2 curriculum to be able to take small groups for numeracy and literacy support. Ideally you will need to hold a level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general and 1:1 support to children with ADHD, ASD and complex learning needs.
- Act as a positive role model, building strong and supportive relationships with students.
- Work with the class teacher to support lesson delivery within the KS2 classroom
- Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in all interactions.
- UK school experience is essential to be considered for this role.
