Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN
- Help shape and contribute to the school's improvement and development strategies
- Support and advise teaching staff and support workers to enhance learning outcomes
- Recommend suitable resources to optimise classroom and SEN teaching practices
- Lead and contribute to in-house training and CPD for staff
- Act as a role model of the school's inclusive and child-focused ethos
What We're Looking For
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Solid understanding of SEND practices, including EHCPs and personalised learning plans
- Experience working with students with Autism, SEMH, or communication difficulties
- Confident working collaboratively with a wider professional team
- Strong planning, assessment, and classroom management abilities
- Experience mentoring or guiding teaching assistants or LSAs is desirable
