We're working with a highly regarded primary school in Knowsley seeking a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position supporting learning across the school, leading PE sessions during lunch breaks, and delivering after-school sports activities from 3 PM to 5 PM daily.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting teachers across the school to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Providing targeted small group support to help pupils thrive both academically and socially.
- Leading and delivering fun, structured PE activities during lunchtime.
- Running a variety of sports and active games as part of the after-school club (3 PM - 5 PM).
- Fostering positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support whole-school well being.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a UK school setting is essential.
- A background in sports coaching or delivering physical activities to children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two recent references (one must be related to safeguarding).
