Are you a detail-oriented scientist looking to take a lead role in a high-standard laboratory environment? We are seeking a Senior QC Technician to oversee laboratory housekeeping, perform critical quality testing, and maintain our calibration standards.
This role is vital to our production pipeline, ensuring that every product-from intermediate stages to finished goods-meets rigorous safety and integrity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Testing: Perform routine QC testing on intermediate and finished products following strict SOPs.
Lab Ownership: Act as the process owner for lab housekeeping, including cleaning protocols and consumable supply management.
Compliance: Work within ISO 9001, 13485, and 18385 (DNA Forensic) quality frameworks.
Calibration & Training: Lead instrument calibration schedules and train team members on laboratory operations and equipment.
Documentation: Perform batch reviews of QC documents to ensure 100% accuracy and traceability.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: Previous experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
Technical Interest: A working knowledge of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is highly desirable.
Attributes: Strong leadership potential, a "safety-first" mindset, and the ability to train others effectively.
