Static Maintenance Electrician
Location: Reading
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: £39,000 - £40,000 per annum
Shift Patterns:
- Three weeks a month: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- One week a month: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM
- One weekend and a half day off per month

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Static Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Oracle Shopping Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment at the Oracle Shopping Centre.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues in a timely manner.
- Perform repairs and replacements of electrical components as necessary.
- Conduct electrical testing, including PAT testing, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs carried out.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to work varied shift patterns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
