Randstad C&P are currently seeking an experienced Static Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients Facilities Management team on a static commercial site in Darlington. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, heating, and gas systems.
- Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks, including leak detection and repair, pipework modifications, and fixture maintenance.
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on gas boilers and other gas appliances.
- Apply your skills across other trades, including minor electrical work and general building maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and statutory regulations, with a strong focus on Gas Safe protocols and point-of-work risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including details of completed tasks, materials used, and any follow-up actions required.
Key Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equiavlent (City and Guilds) in Plumbing
- Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (desirable) i.e. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, TPCP1/TPCP1A, ICPN1
- An F-Gas Category 1 qualification is also desired.
- Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled or maintenance role, ideally in a commercial or static site environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Clean UK drivers licence and own Vehicle
