Randstad C&P is working with a leading Facilities Management client who is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Plumber to their team of engineers. This is a static position carrying out work on a commercial site in Newcastle.
The Package:
- Competitive salary up to £35,500 per annum, depending on experience
- Core working hours Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
- Full-time and permanent opportunity

- 33 days annual holidays (including bank holidays)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing installations in commercial premises
- Responding to and completing the planned, reactive, and repair work orders
- Inspection of drains and systems
- Plumbing maintenance work
- Using your initiative to evaluate performance and ensure that equipment is serviced and maintained
- Comply with health and safety policies/legislation
- Providing a good level of customer service to peers and contract holders
Candidate Requirements:
- Recognised apprenticeship ideally with 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Must hold an NVQ qualification or equivalent
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team
