Step Into the Classroom: Cover Supervisors Needed in Sefton
Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits your schedule? we are urgently hiring Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Sefton borough, including Crosby, Bootle, Formby, Maghull, and Southport.
Pay Rate: £90.00 - £95.00 per day (Negotiable based on experience).
Duties:
- Supervise students while they complete pre-set work from their regular teacher.
- Encourage a positive learning atmosphere by managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Assist pupils with their tasks and answer general questions about the work.
- Collect all student work and resources at the end of each period.
- Ensure the classroom is left tidy and report back on student progress.
Skills Needed:
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence when speaking to groups.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while managing a classroom.
- High level of organisation and the ability to follow lesson plans accurately.
- A positive, patient approach when working with young people from various backgrounds.
- Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS certificate.
