The Role Summary
The successful candidate will join a service that prioritises the quality of supervision over administrative volume. Unlike many traditional roles, this position allows the Social Worker to focus entirely on placement stability and carer development, as external teams handle Form F assessments and initial referrals. The agency prides itself on a non-clique, collaborative culture where professional well-being is safeguarded through a hybrid working model and a highly competitive remuneration package.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, intensive support and supervision to a designated caseload of foster carers.
- Ensuring all practice aligns with the Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards.
- Conducting a mix of planned and unannounced visits to children in placement to ensure safety and well-being.
- Formulating bespoke training and development pathways to empower carers in their professional growth.
- Collaborating with in-house Behaviour Specialists, Health Professionals, and Educational Advisors to ensure a holistic support package for every child.
- Participating in a telephone-based out-of-hours duty rota (typically 2-3 days per month) to provide essential service continuity.
The Reward Package
- Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum + a £3,400 Car Allowance.
- Annual Leave: A generous 30 days plus 8 Bank Holidays.
- Working Flexibility: Only one mandatory office-based day per week.

- Enhanced OOH Pay: Tiered payments of £25 for weekday, £50 for weekends, and double-pay Bank Holiday duty.
Candidate Requirements
Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration.
Possession of a Social Work degree (BA/MA), DipSW, or CQSW.
Must be a car driver with access to a personal vehicle for travel across Yorkshire.
