Location: Swadlincote (Office & Local Sites) Salary: Up to £40,000 + Company Van Contract: 12 Months (May 2025 - December 2025)
Are you an experienced Supervisor with a trade background in social housing, ready for an immediate start? We're looking for a proactive individual to join our new team on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2025. This role involves overseeing planned works (kitchens, bathrooms, roofing) across 3,000 properties, ensuring quality control and Health and Safety.
You'll split your time between our Swadlincote office and local sites, managing subcontractors and leading from the front.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the team to allocate daily work efficiently.
- Conduct pre-inspection works, providing clear guidance to operatives on job specifics.
- Perform post-inspection works to meticulously assess and ensure the quality of operatives' workmanship.
- Verify that large multi-trade jobs are accurately booked by the scheduling team, confirming required trades, timeframes, and the need for pre-inspections.
- Effectively manage and respond to variation requests from operatives, ensuring compliance with client rules and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- SSSTS certification (minimum requirement).
- A full and clean driving license is essential due to the mixed office and site-based nature of the role.
- A solid trade background in social housing.
- Experience in planned works is ideal, but we will also consider candidates with strong reactive works experience.
- A natural leader who prioritizes quality control and Health and Safety.
