Role: Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: Essex
Position: Flexible / Temporary / Cover
Pay Rate: £120 - £140 per day (DOE)
Are you an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and a better work-life balance? We are working closely with a prominent group of secondary schools across Essex seeking passionate cover teachers for immediate and upcoming opportunities.
Whether you are looking for daily supply work, short-term assignments, or longer-term cover across key stages 3 and 4, this role offers the freedom to choose when and where you work while remaining fully engaged in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned, engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment in line with school policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a supportive learning space.
- Leave detailed feedback for returning class teachers.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome).
- Strong classroom management and adaptability skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
