Teaching Opportunities - Immediate & Summer Starts!
We are looking for Supply Teachers for secondary schools in Chester and surrounding areas like Upton and Christleton. If you want to teach without the pressure of planning and marking, this is the perfect role for you.
We have work starting ASAP and for the Summer Term (starting April). We can offer you daily flexible work or longer-term cover depending on what you prefer.
What you need:
- QTS or QTLS.
- A valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one).
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Experience working in a UK secondary school.
Key Duties:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively following school policies.
- Ensure all students remain on task and complete their set work.
- Collect completed work at the end of the lesson for the regular teacher.
- Provide a brief handover note regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Supervise students during break times or lesson transitions when required.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all pupils.
- Register attendance accurately at the start of every lesson.
- Follow all safeguarding and child protection procedures strictly.
- Support students with their individual learning needs during tasks.
