We're looking for dedicated Support Workers to join the team at Blackwood Care in Edinburgh's Newhaven area.
You'll be supporting service users in two key services, Western Harbour and Lindsay Road, with a focus on either a shared team or one-to-one support. The roles will involve working with individuals with diverse needs, including a male with an acquired brain injury and a female with complex anxiety and other mental health challenges.

This is a great opportunity to start on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract from day one.
We're looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Patient and eager to learn.
- Flexible to work earlies, lates, long days (07:00-22:00), and sleepovers.
- Ideally trained in Epilepsy/rescue medication (Buccal Midazolam), but training can be provided.
- Have no visa restrictions and won't require future sponsorship.
Pay & Benefits:
- Temporary Pay: £16.50 Umbrella or £14.07 Rolled Up.
- Permanent Pay: £12.60 per hour, or £13 per hour with an SVQ.
- Once permanent, you'll receive:
- 34 days of holiday.
- Fully funded SVQ training.
- A company sick pay scheme and pension.
- Access to health and wellbeing resources, including a 24/7 GP service.
