Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior staff to deliver daily operational support tailored to individual needs.
- Provide empathetic assistance with personal care and essential daily living activities.
- Encourage participation in diverse centre-based activities, including arts, crafts, music, drama, and gardening.
- Promote social inclusion by facilitating community outings, leisure visits, and supporting service users with public transport.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current registration with the NI Social Care Council (NISCC)
- A minimum of 6 months of paid direct care experience (or 2 years of experience if holding no specific qualifications).
- Level 2 Diploma/NVQ/QCF/VRQ/RCF in Health & Social Care OR 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths).
- Strong communication skills and a patient, professional approach to care.
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
