Position Overview
- Location: Horley 
- Role: Teaching Assistant (SEN Experience Required) 
- Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time, Term-Time Only 
- Pay: Competitive, commensurate with experience 
The Role
You will be instrumental in the classroom, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and assisting teachers. Your contribution is vital to creating a positive and fully inclusive learning environment where all young learners can thrive.
Key Duties include:
- Providing tailored one-to-one or small-group support to students with SEN. 
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). 
- Collaborating closely with teaching staff and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). 
- Helping to manage classroom behavior and fostering positive social and emotional development. 
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Proven experience supporting children with various SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, or SEMH). 
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable nature. 
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
- A proactive approach and eagerness to learn. 
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (though desirable, these are not mandatory).
