This therapeutic setting supports 105 students aged 5-16 and delivers a curriculum designed for success, inclusion, and motivation. Key Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students, supporting learning and engagement
Assist the teacher with planning and delivering activities
Support learners with varied and complex needs across the curriculum
Monitor and evaluate student progress under teacher guidance
Promote a positive, safe, and structured learning environment
Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in learners
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience in SEND settings is desirable but not essential
A genuine interest in SEN and willingness to learn
Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
Adaptable and proactive, with a team-focused approach
