Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and interactive lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with the Head of Faculty to align your teaching with the academy's objectives.
- Drive academic progress through consistent feedback and personalised support.
- Regularly assess and track student performance through tests, assignments, and feedback.
- Offer additional help and resources to students who may need extra assistance to grasp complex concepts.
- Adhere to School rules, policies, and procedures while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Requirements
- PGCE/QTS/QTLS: You must be a qualified Teacher with experience in teaching Geography.
- Enhanced DBS: An up-to-date DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage (KS4) students.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Engagement: A passion for making Geography come alive for students and inspiring them to aim higher.
