Responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting relationships to ensure students feel safe and engaged in learning.
- Foster independence and personal growth, maintaining high behavioural expectations.
- Develop and manage tailored, high-quality resources to meet individual or group needs.
- Support student's cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual development.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to share relevant student information.
- Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of students in your classes.
Requirements
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification with ongoing professional development.
- Strong academic background and experience in ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths.
- Excellent ICT skills, enthusiasm for technology, and ability to share knowledge.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Skilled at building supportive relationships with young people.
- Experience supporting diverse learning needs, including anxious or reluctant learners.
