About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled IT Teacher for a full-time position beginning this September at a well-established and high-achieving secondary school based in North Yorkshire, with excellent transport links to both Leeds and Wakefield. The role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Computer Science and IT, with the potential to contribute to Sixth Form teaching in the future.

Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Sound subject knowledge and passion for computing and IT
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science and IT
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 (with potential to teach KS5)
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments
- Use a range of software and coding tools relevant to the curriculum
- Track and report on student progress and attainment
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and resource sharing
- Participate in school events, open evenings, and parental engagement
- Foster digital literacy and e-safety awareness among students
- Support students in developing career pathways in tech
