About the Role
We are recruiting for a Teacher of Maths to work in a thriving secondary school based in Leeds. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths, supporting learners of all abilities and contributing to a positive, structured learning environment.

What we would require from you
... - QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

- Strong subject knowledge in Maths (KS3/KS4).
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to differentiate work to meet the needs of all learners.
- Strong organisational skills and lesson planning.
- Resilience and adaptability.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress.
- Creating a classroom environment that promotes learning and high achievement.
- Differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Preparing students for internal and external assessments.
- Participating in department and whole-school meetings.
- Supporting students through after-school revision or intervention sessions.
- Contributing to the positive ethos of the Maths department.
- Supporting tutor group or pastoral responsibilities as needed.
- Setting homework and providing timely feedback.
