About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic PE teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This role goes beyond the classroom, involving the organisation and coaching of school sports teams, contributing to the broader school community through extra-curricular clubs, and participating in school events.

What we require from you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

What you need to do:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Organise and lead extra-curricular sports clubs and teams.
- Participate in school-wide events, including sports day and tournaments.
- Promote and enforce high standards of behaviour and discipline.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the PE curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the wider school community.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in physical education.
