Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK Science curriculum
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive teaching
- Use data to monitor progress and plan effective interventions
- Promote STEM careers and further science study
- Conduct practical experiments safely and effectively
- Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation
- Work closely with colleagues in the Science faculty to share best practices
- Support students in science competitions, clubs, and enrichment events
- Ensure lessons are inclusive and culturally responsive
- Keep up to date with new developments in science teaching
- Uphold and model school policies on safeguarding, inclusion, and behaviour
