We are seeking a Social Science Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5 (ideally including Sociology and/or Psychology), to join our thriving, inclusive secondary school in Leeds, from September 2025, on a permanent, full-time basis. Essential Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Strong understanding of current educational developments and curriculum reforms
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Social Science subjects
- Differentiate lessons to meet diverse student needs and abilities
- Assess, track and monitor student progress regularly
- Provide constructive feedback to students
- Support students with coursework, exams and extended projects
- Contribute to curriculum development and review
- Participate in departmental meetings and whole-school CPD
- Contribute to school improvement planning
- Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Foster a love for learning and social awareness in students
