We are seeking a specialist to provide exceptional education to students with complex and diverse learning difficulties. Your expertise should cover a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and CLD. The Role: Key Duties & Expectations
- Tailored Instruction: Planning and executing highly differentiated lessons and individual education plans (IEPs).
- Curriculum Focus: Ensuring all teaching aligns with the P Scales curriculum framework.
- Relationship Building: Cultivating strong, professional, and trusting relationships to support student's academic and personal well-being.
- Classroom Dynamics: Applying creative and resilient teaching methods to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a supportive atmosphere.
- Student Care: Providing necessary assistance with personal care routines as part of the daily responsibilities.
- Working Hours: Full-time commitment: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Mandatory Candidate Criteria
Your application must meet these non-negotiable requirements:
- Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience: Proven, recent experience supporting SEN pupils within a UK school setting.
- Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK. (Note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
- Safeguarding: A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is compulsory, or immediate willingness to apply for a new one.
- Skills: Excellent behaviour management and professional communication skills.
