Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalised curriculum that meets the diverse learning needs of pupils aged 4-12, with a strong focus on Key Stage 2 experience.
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that support educational progress and enhance social communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated staff team and extensive Teaching Assistant (TA) support in classes to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with pupils, fostering their confidence and encouraging friendships.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on progress and offering advice and support.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of and experience with Autism (ASD), MLD, SLD, and SLCN.
- Proven Key Stage 2 experience.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
