Teaching Assistant Wanted in Chester!

Requirements:
- Solid experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, youth clubs, or child care.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers and staff.
- A calm, patient approach when handling challenging situations or complex needs.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Key Duties:
- Provide 1:1 and small group academic support for students aged 11-16.
- Assist class teachers in managing classroom behaviour and student engagement.
- Help deliver pre-planned lesson materials across various secondary subjects.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and productive learning environment.
- Guide students through Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum goals.
- Act as a positive role model for teenagers within a mainstream school setting.
- Monitor and report on student attendance and academic participation.
