Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and proactive Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants to join a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across North Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. Positions are available for both daily supply and long-term placements, offering flexibility and the chance to gain valuable experience in a variety of educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
... Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional and behavioural needs.
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils to achieve their full potential.
Assist with classroom activities, small group work, and one-to-one interventions.
Support students' social and emotional development through structured routines and pastoral care.
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Proven experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children with additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
