Teaching Assistant- Liverpool City Centre
We are looking for adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to support students in Liverpool's most diverse and fast-moving secondary schools.

Pay: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour.
City Centre & Inner City Areas: L1, L2, L3, L7, L8 (including Kensington, Toxteth, and Edge Hill).

Duties:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group support to help students master difficult subjects.
- Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students .
- Supervise students during practical lessons and experiments to ensure safety.
- Keep a close eye on student progress and provide simple, encouraging feedback.
- Prepare the classroom environment and resources before each lesson begins.
- Act as a reliable mentor and positive role model for teenagers.
- Support the school's pastoral team in ensuring student well being and safety.
What You Need:
- A passion for education and helping young people reach their full potential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team.
- A professional manner and the resilience to handle a secondary school environment.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
