About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming school setting in Leeds. This is a full-time position with an ASAP start, working through Randstad Education. This pivotal position involves providing essential support to class teachers and students, helping to create an environment where every child can flourish academically and personally. The successful candidate will work across various key stages, assisting with both general classroom support and targeted 1:1 or small group interventions.

Requirements for the Role
... - Proven experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child protection.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Providing effective one-on-one and small group support to pupils.
- Assisting the class teacher with the preparation of resources and learning materials.
- Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or support plans.
- Actively engaging in behaviour management and promoting positive conduct in line with school policy.
- Monitoring and recording pupil's progress, providing detailed feedback to the teacher.
- Supervising pupils during non-contact time, such as lunch and break duties.
- Ensuring the safety, welfare, and emotional well-being of all pupils.
- Helping to maintain a stimulating, tidy, and organised classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils with reading, literacy, and numeracy development.
- Attending relevant staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
