Where You'll Be Working:
We have vacancies in high schools across all Sefton communities:
- South Sefton: L20 (Bootle), L21 (Litherland), L30 (Netherton).
- Crosby & Maghull: L22 (Waterloo), L23 (Crosby), L31 (Maghull).
- Formby: L37.
- Southport & Ainsdale: PR8, PR9.
Your Duties:
- Helping students understand difficult topics in small groups.
- Providing one-on-one support for students with specific learning needs.
- Keeping students focused and motivated during their lessons.
- Supporting students who have English as an additional language (EAL).
- Helping the teacher manage classroom behavior in a calm way.
- Making sure all students feel safe and supported in school.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and materials.

- Communication: Being able to talk to teenagers in a way they understand.
- Patience: Staying calm when helping students who find work challenging.
- Flexibility: Being happy to help in different subjects like Maths, English, or PE.

- Experience: Experience with young people (coaching, youth work, or tutoring) is a plus.
