The specialist SEN team focuses on creating personalised pathways for success, delivering tailored support that promotes resilience, independence, and growth in and beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech/language challenges.
- Assist in designing inclusive and engaging learning environments that support academic, emotional, and social development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Use your initiative to provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual student needs.
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom culture where all students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with SEN children in a School or similar setting.
- A kind, flexible approach and commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for helping students thrive and overcome learning barriers.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references confirming your experience and suitability.
