This role will be an integral part of the school's support team, directly impacting the learning and development of students with additional needs.
Job Description- Provide support to students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.
- Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Support students with their learning, both individually and in groups.
- Implement and monitor individualised education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
We're looking for you, if:
- You have experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are patient, empathetic, and have a positive attitude.
- You have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above.
- You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You are committed to supporting the learning and development of students with additional needs.
