We are looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Cranleigh. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Safeguarding:
An Enhanced DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
