The Role: Empowering Every Student
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and engaging learning experience. You will:
- Provide individualised care and learning support to students, acting as a Pupil Champion for their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs.
- Collaborate with staff and therapists to deliver a highly personalised curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive community where students feel happy and supported.
- Contribute to an environment that encourages all students to achieve their full potential and makes learning exciting and accessible.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs, especially those with autism, and a desire to make a real impact.
- An empathetic, understanding, and patient approach.
- A collaborative team player, eager to work alongside teachers and therapists.
- A proactive learner, keen to develop new skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above).
- A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
