We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student at a mainstream secondary school in the Formby area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on a pupil's learning journey and overall school experience.
The role involves providing one-to-one support to a student, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential social and academic skills. While the student is in a mainstream setting, there may be some minor SEN needs to be aware of and support with.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to a single student both in the classroom and during independent work.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and resource preparation for the student.
Helping the student to navigate social situations and build positive relationships with peers.
Monitoring and reporting on the student's progress and well-being.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar child-focused role.
Patience, empathy, and a calm, positive demeanor.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting a student's individual needs.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Legal RTW in the UK and willing to work long-term full-time for 5 days a week.
