Are you passionate about supporting neurodivergent young people to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment? We are excited to be opening a brand-new SEND Secondary School in the heart of Horsham, West Sussex, for students aged 11-16. Our innovative provision is designed for young people who are moving from mainstream education to benefit from smaller classes, adapted learning, and a focus on sensory and emotional wellbeing.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new and impactful from the very beginning.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of everything we do. You'll:
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to support personalised learning for each student.
Help deliver therapeutic strategies and classroom interventions in line with our integrated therapy model.
Build strong, supportive relationships with students, focusing on their wellbeing and development.
Participate in enrichment activities such as outdoor learning, swimming, sports, visits, and community projects.
Communicate regularly with parents and professionals to ensure consistent, joined-up support.
