About the Role

Requirements:
... - A passion for working with children and a commitment to their wellbeing.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable, but not essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with varying needs.
- Helping to create and maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting students with their personal, social, and emotional development.
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and displays.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress, behaviour, and development to the teacher.
- Implementing and adapting learning strategies as directed by the teacher.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, such as break and lunch duties.
- Following school policies and procedures, with a particular focus on safeguarding.
- Attending relevant staff meetings and training sessions to support professional development.
