RoleRole & Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will assist with classroom activities, provide individual support to students, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
Main tasks include
- Assisting teachers with classroom management and instruction.
- Providing individual and small-group support to students.
- Preparing and organizing classroom materials.
- Participating in school events and activities.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
- At least 6 months of experience working with children in a UK educational setting.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Experience with diverse learning styles and needs.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
