The Role:
Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Horley, Surrey
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Your Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
Assist in preparing teaching resources and managing classroom displays.
Support students with diverse learning needs, including SEN.
About You (Experience & Skills):
Essential: Proven experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
Desirable: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and parents.
A patient, calm, and understanding approach to student support.
Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
Creative, resourceful, and proactive.
