A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
An understanding of child development and best practices for SEN assistance.

What are you going to do?

As a Teaching Assistant focused on SEN support, you will be the child's champion. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:

One-to-One Support: Focusing on both the child's academic progress and personal, social, and emotional development.
Tailored Learning: Implementing specific learning and development plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher or SENCO.
Emotional & Social Support: Offering a consistent and vital source of encouragement, helping the child feel secure and confident.
Positive Environment: Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and structured learning atmosphere.
