A supportive primary school in Wirral is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role focuses on supporting Reception class pupils with special educational needs, including global delay and speech and language difficulties. The position offers a chance to make a significant impact and could lead to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to students in individual or small group settings.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation.
- Ensuring a safe and stimulating learning space.
- Demonstrating knowledge of various teaching methods.
- Communicating effectively with children and engaging them in activities.
We Are Looking For:
- Resilient, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in UK childcare.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
- Two recent, verifiable professional references.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
