As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the class teacher and enriching the students' learning experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing essential 1:1 and small group support to pupils, focusing on literacy and numeracy.

• Assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they are fully included in classroom activities.

• Supporting the class teacher with classroom management and lesson preparation.

• Helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.

• Preparing learning materials and assisting with classroom displays.

About You | Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to fill this Teaching Assistant role. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience working with children, ideally in a primary school or SEN setting.

• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE) is beneficial but not essential.

• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff.

• A genuine passion for education and supporting children's development.
